Wedding Consultation Weekend, 3.6.2021

We were thrilled to welcome nine fantastic couples to our shop on the weekend of March 6-7. They ate our food, chatted with our event planner, and got some more information on the services we provide. We heard so many lovely stories about how each couple met, how they knew they found their perfect match, and how they got engaged. It was such a great success and we look forward to hosting another event like this in the future!

As our couples entered, their table was already filled with some delicious bites! Our chef put together a beautiful and simple crudité and paired it with caramelized shallot and Blue cheese dip, muhammara, and green goddess dip.

They were then served a selection of appetizers from our wedding menu. Our chef made deviled quail eggs on pumpernickel toast, watermelon radish with herb goat cheese, blinis with blue cheese, walnuts, and honey, and Vietnamese spring rolls.

After appetizers, our chef served an herb roasted chicken with chipotle sweet potatoes, sautéed kale, and a beautiful and aromatic Pistou sauce.

Next up our couples enjoyed our sesame salmon with Thai chili sauce, baby bok choy, and shiitake mushrooms.

After the entrees, our couples got a taste of some of our beautiful dessert tapas. Chocolate mousse brownie shooters, vanilla meringues, s’mores bar bites, and vanilla mini cupcakes with salted caramel and cinnamon buttercream finished off the meal. There was also a sample wedding cake to give the couples an idea of our cake style.

After eating and chatting with our event planner, all of our couples received a sweet little goodie bag. Sugar cookies, a hot cocoa bomb, and a jar of local honey served as a sweet take away for our lovebirds.
